HOO-HOO CLUB PROJECT AWARD

At the 1997 Hoo-Hoo International Convention in Boston, Rameses 79 Jack Jacobson was asked to chair a round table, along with Rameses 78 Al Meier, to discuss the Wood Promotion Award and the Jack Cheshire Media Award and the concern that there was very little participation over the last several years from local Hoo-Hoo clubs. After considerable discussion, it was decided that an award for a broader criteria should be created so that more clubs could participate. It would need to be an award that would not only cover a club's work with media, but also education efforts and community projects as well. From this, the "Hoo-Hoo International Activity Award" began. It has since been renamed the "Hoo-Hoo Club Project Award".

 COWICHAN VALLEY MEMBERSHIP TROPHY

Given to the Jurisdiction with the greatest numerical increase in membership. The trophy remains in the museum, but the Supreme Nine will receive a pin and a metal plate with be engraved to be added to the trophy. 

 

 OLD TIMER'S PERPETUAL TROPHY

At each convention, the member in attendance with the lowest member number is given this title. Although we do not travel with the actual trophy anymore, the "Old Timer" is given a pin at the convention and a metal plate will be added to the trophy with his/her name.

 

  GORDON DOMAN MEMORIAL TROPHY

This title is to be awarded to the Supreme Nine who had contributed most that year to the betterment of our organization. The recipient is given a pin at the convention and his/her name will be added to the trophy.

WALKING STICK AWARD

This award is given to the Supreme Nine who traveled the most miles within their Jurisdiction. The recipient receives a pin at the convention and a metal plate with his/her name is added.
